THROWING TASTER SESSION

Give throwing on the pottery wheel a go!

  • A relaxed taster session to introduce you to the wheel

  • You will learn how to centre clay and shape a simple vessel

  • One to one or come with a friend!

  • You will end the session with two finished piece that will be glazed and fired for collection

 Perfect for complete beginners or anyone curious to try working with clay.

BEGINNERS THROWING CLASS

A 5-week course to learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. Ideal for beginners or those returning to clay after a break.

  • Forming different shapes on the wheel

  • Learn how to trim your pieces

Each lesson lasts 2 hours, and by the end of the course, you will have created a small collection of your own finished pieces.

Duration: 5 weeks (2-hour sessions each week)
Price: £250 per person

INTERMEDIATE THROWING CLASS

A 5-week course to advance on what you learned in your beginner’s course. Can only be accessed once you have completed the beginner’s course.

  • Preparing your clay

  • Learn to make handles for mugs

  • Hone in your shaping and trimming skills

Duration: 5 weeks (2-hour sessions each week)
Price: £250 per person

ADVANCED THROWING CLASS

A 5-week course to advance on what you learned in your intermediate course. Can only be accessed once you have completed the intermediate course.

  • Making lidded vessels

  • Making plates

  • Making sculptural shapes and vases

Duration: 5 weeks (2-hour sessions each week)
Price: £250 per person

ONE-TO-ONE CLASSES

Private tuition for those who want focused guidance and to go at their own pace on the wheel. A great next step for anyone wanting dedicated studio time with individual tuition.

Price: £35 an hour

STUDIO Policy

I understand things come up. To keep the studio running smoothly:

  • 48+ hours notice → reschedule at no cost

  • Under 48 hours → session fee is non-refundable

  • No-shows are non-refundable
